Need help extndng partitn to non-adjcnt unallctd partition in tablet.

    Hi Folks,
I have a Windows 10 tablet that has a 32GB drive together with a 64GB SdCard but I need to recover some space for the main windows partition. I have reduced the size of one of the partitions but I have been unable to allocate that space to the main Windows partition.

From the attached screenshot you will be able to see the way that the drive is partitioned. It occurs to me that if I was to delete the two partitions to the right of the Windows partition then I would be able to extend the Main partition sequentially until I succeeded in recovering the 4.1GB from the partition on the right. Problem is that I have no idea if those two partitions (600MB & 450MB) are required or not.

Originally this was a Windows 8.1 tablet and it may be that neither of these partitions are required. It is now running Insider Build 10547 - (I can't get enough space to allow for the installation of Build 10565). If they are not required then I don't think I should have a problem. If they are then I need some guidance as to how I can grab that unallocated space.

Many thanks for any help received.

    Dave

You should be able to move the two smaller partitions to the right with MiniTool PW, thus moving the un-allocated space next to C:. Then you can expand it to use that space.

1 & 2 together they occupy about 1.05 GB. Using Mini Tool, right click on 2->Explore then you'll see the content of it. Same as with 1 then you can determine whether they are needed or not. However, they are both small, I would leave them alone.

to move the unallocated 4.1GB next to C: and expand:

    1. Right click on 1->Move/Resize. A windows will popup, click and hold then drag to the right. Click OK
    2. Do the same for 2.
    3. Right click on 3, move the Mouse cursor to the right edge of 3 until you see the Cursor change to a two-vertical bars, hold and drag to the end. Click OK
    4. On the top left corner. Click Apply
    5. Mini Tool will ask for confirmation and reboot to apply the change.
