Black screen after installing WIN 10

    Hello evreryone,

When upgrading my TABLET (not a PC) from Win 8.1 to Win 10, windows system told me that I don't have enough memory space to install win 10 and give to me the option that I can use a micro SD card memory to install win 10. I choose this option and insert a 32 GB micro SD card into my tablet. Installation of win 10 run thru smoothly.

My TABLET is a Dual Os system. It runs Windows 8.1 and Android 4.44 . After upgrading my TABLET from win 8.1 to win 10 (with reserved windows icon), my tablet doesn't work anymore with Windows OS. It keep trying to boot up, then has a black screen. When I switch my TABLET to Android 4.44 system, it works perfectly.

Can you tell me what is the problem? How to solve it? Can I reinstall Win 10? How to do it? Or Can I rollback to the previous OS and how to perform the rollback?
With Windows OS the screen is totaly black.

Thank you very much for your help.

You will need a USB keyboard and mouse. Then you can try rebooting Windows several times (hold power to close before they fully load) in order to eventually see the troubleshooting options. When you see this screen, select the advanced startup options. The device will reboot and display a list with options. You can select safe mode with networking so you have internet access. Once in Windows you can download and install new graphics drivers from manufacturer site. This should make the display work again. If you get a message that you cannot install drivers in safe mode, you can go to the troubleshooting screen again, advanced startup options and this time select Low Resolution option. This should load basic graphics, so you can see the screen and install the driver.

I don't think is necessary to reinstall Windows 10, but to do that you must connect a USB keyboard and mouse and a USB disk containing Windows 01 setup. Then you can press the relevant key and load the boot choice menu, select to boot from the USB disk and start Windows 10 setup. It would be a little difficult to do in a tablet, so try first correcting the problem.

    Hello Spapakon,
Thank you for a fat reply.
What I understand is I have to connect my tablet to my PC because I need a keyboard and a mouse, right?
Then I have to turn on my tablet and choose to boot into win OS instead of Android OS. And hold the power button to shutdown the tablet before it fully load into WIN OS in order to see the troubleshooting options. Then I will follow the rest of instructions that you give to me, right?
I will in a try after coming back from work.
Again, thanks for your time and help. I really hope it will work .

If your tablet has a USB port, you can connect USB keyboard and mouse directly and use them. When Windows tries to load shutdown the tablet and switch it on again. Try to boot into Windows again and shutdown again. If you do that 2-3 times, Windows will display the troubleshooting screen where you can follow my instructions. I told you to connect a keyboard because you would not be able to select an item from the list using the touchscreen when you are in Advanced boot options menu. In the keyboard you simply press the number indicated on screen. Then you will probably need a mouse because touchscreen may not work in safe mode.

    Good luck.
