How to redownload windows 10 upgrade?

I had my windows 10 upgrade scheduled for last month. The download started happening but after a few megabytes were downloaded, I cancelled the download as I am on a metered connection and realized that I don't have 3GB left in my data plan.
But when I try to re-download windows 10 now, the download doesn't even start, and displays that it has encountered an unknown error 80070002. Also, the media creation tool doesn't work, saying 'oops.. something went wrong'.
Please help, I am desperate to try out this new windows os !

RE download the media creation tool - note choose create for install on ANOTHER PC - then use it to upgrade your current PC.

If you're on a metered connection, do you have a friend who is not metered who could get you a copy of the ISO?

There is no legal requirement that you download it yourself. An ISO can be used to upgrade any machine; it just has to match the version of Windows 7 or 8 that is being upgraded (language, 32 or 64 bit, home or Pro).
