    I do for each computer AFTER I've done the Free Upgrade so I can do clean installs later on when necessary. A number of the computers belonged to clients and I'm just trying to protect them as best I can.

    You can use the media NavyLCDR mentions for doing both upgrades and clean installs, as long as the media has the correct edition, version and bitness (32/64). Would seem more efficient for a number of client computers to have that media used for initial upgrade.

Just found this on the MS Windows 10 Specifications page: ~Applications, files and settings will migrate as part of the upgrade, however some applications or settings may not migrate. For Anti-virus and Anti-malware...
