    Delete the C:\$Windows.~BT and C:\Windows.old directory

    In Windows 10, how do I delete the C:\$Windows.~BT and C:\Windows.old directory?

    Start with Disk Cleanup (with the option to delete System Files)
    Disk Cleanup - Open and Use in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    But bear in mind that by deleting these files, you will lose the option to go back to an earlier version of Windows.

    Also both of these folders will be deleted automatically once you exceed the one month period, in which you can go back to your old version of Windows.

    There is a manual procedure to eliminate these two directories?

    I think the techniques there should also work to delete C:\$Windows.~BT
