    Upgrade to 64-bit Windows 10

I have successfully upgraded to 32-bit Windows 10. Is it possible to upg
rade to a 64-bit Windows 10? If so, could you advise how to accomplish it. Thanks!

From my understanding, you can't upgrade from a 32bit OS to a 64Bit OS.. you'll have to install the 64Bit one from scratch. Someone else might have a better idea..

I have the 64-bit Windows 7 installation disc. How can I upgrade to 64-bit Windows 10 from my current 32-bit Windows 10? Thanks!

If your 32bit Windows 10 is already activated then Download Windows 10 64bit and do a fresh install.

this is the safest and best way. Trying to force it in any other way will simply cause you pain. Topgun is right, just bite the bullet and clean install. You'll be better off in the end.

Sounds encouraging, how can I do it without the Windows 10 product key?

As long as that computer has been upgraded to Windows 10 before and it is activated, then you can clean install it again by just clicking "Skip" or "Do this later" when it asks for a product key. Unless a person has purchased a unique product key for Windows 10 they should never type in a product key.

Thanks a million to your good news! I will upgrade from 32-bit Windows 7 to 32-bit Windows 10 first and then follow the advice from Joergi to do a clean installation of 64-bit Windows 10.
