    System Image Manager and Bitlocker

Using the system Image Manager how do I disable bitlocker? So the install won't create a bitlocker partition! I have a recovery key but it does not work on this partition! Thanks In advance for your help!

Never heard of a Win 10 system Image Manager.
What program do you have to create the drive image?
Macrium Reflect can create a rescue drive with the bitlocker key so you can create the image with bitlocker enabled and also restore it.
My suggestion is to disable bitlocker before creating the drive image.

OP cross-posted the same question on another forum.

Windows System Image Manager (WSIM) from the Windows ADK is the legacy tool for customizing install images, by building unattended files. You set PreventDeviceEncryption = true.

    Sysprep and Windows couldn't validate..

I got this in my sysprep.log file, I can't figure out what the error means and what I need to do! Do I take something out of the Windows directory? What is the way to solve this? What is the appxsysprep.dll file what does it do?[beside make sure that you can't run sysprep!]

Also as I solve this problem I going to build a wim then a iso to test in VMware WorkStation 17, now in the autoattend.xml file it makes 5 partitions : C,A,U,D,T. in order to test it in VMWare Worksation do I have to create 4 iso to use as the partitions? if I can make one big one how I go past the 64 gig limit of Vmware Workstation 17? TIA John

Standard answer for all sysprep work: Always disable networking so WU doesn't silently update any UWP apps in the background.
    Code:
2024-05-25 18:17:46, Error SYSPRP Package Microsoft.Ink.Handwriting.Main.en-US.1.0.1_0.237.110.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image.
