    confusing and unclear

dont see anywhere on that page where it says "custom install"

    that link says
iso file to install or reinstall Windows 10
it's unclear if "reinstall" means repair
it doesn't say if it's a new w10 or anything like that

dont see anywhere on that page that says anything about "repair your computer" part of the usb with windows iso
it has no info about the "repair" part or any of the "advanced" options in that blue screen
    windows recovery enivone

I see no progress in attempting to address your problem.

I'm not going to continue to try to explain the difficulties you have understanding these things as this seems endless and unprofitable.

    I wish you good luck.

    A. When you install windows you can choose to recover windows. If that fails then.

A1. If you choose to install a new windows your files ( mostly ones outside the account ( C:\User\yourname\ ) will be left untouched. However program files most likely will have to be reinstalled, because Windows writes specific entries to registry, which needs to be done all over again, and installs various files to the System32 and SysWOW64 folders.
    Things to do in command-line.

    1. Make sure your using the correct windows installation. Meaning while in command and loading from USB/Disc
    2. Switch the correct drive ( note this works different from being logged into windows )
    3. Make sure with bcedit you have the correct disk and correct volume
    4.

Windows 10 ( Windows 7 I assume ) and Windows 11 all uses a "System Reserved Partition". This partition defines and loads whichever windows installation on whichever partition it is installed.

When your logged into Windows via msconfig you can edit which operating system loads from whichever partition, essentially having multiple OS on the same drive as many times as you want. You could have a 20TB and have a boot-loader that chooses which partition to load to and from rather then using a virtual-machine. However the OS you load into needs to understand not to mess/edit or alter the Boot partition.

4A. So within command you can restore, remake, destroy, and alter the boot partition any which way you want.

I am speaking from somebody using the MBR of windows. So if your using GPT it might be different, as with the option to have a password to log into.

    ............

You could also choose to use a restore point ( if you made one and if not then you should make one RIGHT NOW !!! ).

For some reason you can not make any restore point then you need to go into the command-line via recovery mode ( usually you have to access the recovery mode from your computer and not from the disc. Because if you access the recovery mode from your disc/usb then you !!! need to designate the windows install you are working from !!!!.

Usually in command-line ( this is the important stuff ). you could do the following depending on your problem.
I am not going to list those commands as I do not have them memorized/learned

    0. Unlock the administrator account and assign a password
    1. make sure your account is administrator ( etc )
    2. rename the on screen keyboard or disability ( this has changed via later releases of windows ) in order to access command from login screen ( which makes things easy in order to make changes to the computer before you login into any account.
    3. Change the password of your account in case you have forgotten the password for some reason.
    4. Edit the registry ( solves problems ).

There is a whole list of commands ( programs to use with commands ) and options while in command-line via the USB/DISC or
in Recovery-mode via F8 or Hold shift while reset and I do not feel like going into those commands.
