I no longer have the laptop around me but did have it earlier and was able to extend the partition to 1000MB via Minitools. 1024MB kept running into an error message (overlapping partitions?). Also, I did run msconfig and while I didn't get the SKU the model number was hp-17cp2xxx, which I found weird, but enough to search for drivers (below). Pardon not having more detail, I was pretty happy with where we were at and considered it a done task.

There were 3 warning icons in Device Manager which I considered to be due to not having HP drivers installed. I tried upgrading them and that did nothing. Unfortunately, it appears this model does not have Windows 10 drivers so we'll have to cross that bridge whenever we upgrade to 11. Waiting for the cement to settle on that.

    msinfo32 and not msconfig

    Fn+Esc will do it
or check the label on the backside (bottom)

Yes indeed, msinfo32 was it, not msconfig. Non-professional mistake.

Most Win 11 drivers work on Win 10.
OEM computers sometimes requires non standard drivers. You should have exported the Win 11 drivers before the first attempt of cloning the Acer drive into the NVMe. Backup and Restore Device Drivers in Windows 10

You can search for the driver with its ID
On Device Manager, right click on the missing driver and select Properties
On the window that open. select Details tab - and Hardware ID on the pull down menu.
select the first line, right click and select copy - Should be something like USB\VID_03F0&PID_A707&REV_0030&MI_00

With the ID, Google search the internet
You may not find the driver itself but a reference (like HP camera). Go to the HP site and download the driver for it.
