where you find a model specific
System-SKU like X7V51ET#ABA

That number identifies that product on the HP Webpage for maintenance etc
HP 2023 just says nothing

WOW, Megahertz THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to relay such perfect instructions. They totally 100% worked, and on the first time too. The *only* hitch was that Macrium would not allow me to bump the WinRE to 1GB for some reason. But outside of that everything seems to work and we have a new working laptop with the old drive now running on NVMe. Thank you so much!!!

I am with you here. I was unclear of the model number which is why I shared the Amazon storefront from where we purchased it. It is not very clear there either what the model number is. As I no longer have the laptop with me and we fixed the problem anyways I guess it will be one of life's great mysteries.

I hate to ask, but, is this necessary? I am guessing that this is used when recovery is needed and will run out of space if it's not 1GB. I can look into this further if need be. Is Minitool free? I already uninstalled Aomei and it looked like everything valuable about it was on the upsale.

The most important thing is to identify the machine to get the right updates and the service documentation.
You also can press Fn + Esc at the same time to get the Serial No and the Produkt Id for the HP-Website.
I have never seen a 17" Laptop with just (1) disk-interface. Usually they have (3) (1xSata, 2xM.2).
Means: Many more solutions would have been possible.
You used the wrong diskpart commands, so the WinRE-Updates causes the problem.
To troubleshoot that not a single 3rd-party program is needed!

Explain this please, I used the ones provided by Megahertz.

I would have made a complete NVMe-Preparation (not just par 1+2) and in the end clone only the C-Partition. I also would have updated the WinRE.wim on the ACER
