Just out of interest, how do you hide this annoying update ?......I do like my systems to say they are up to date......EDIT.....just checked my even older Inspiron, running the same specs. and it won't accept KB5001716 either........
Really easy with WUmgr (free) - scan for updates with its button, check box, click the Hide button.
Otherwise see the relevant tutorial in the searchable tutorials section (see above).
Thanks for that.....I used "wushowhide" from a link suggested by Brink.........I clicked on hide update, but strangely it has now installed......now for the other Toshiba and the Inspiron !!........EDIT.....just done the same with the Inspiron, and KB5001716 has gone through on it as well.......Thanks to all who replied........
