New Win Corrupted, Can't boot into Old Win10 on other GPT drive?

    Hey folks.

I've got the data off the disk using CMD.

Unfortunately Diskpart fails to format the disk.

So I need to get into windows that exists on my other disk. It's GPT.

Unfortunately I have no idea how to do that, and I'm eternally locked in windows system repair, even if I unplug the corrupted drive. I'm assuming this is a GPT issue, but I've never worked with this behind the scenes and obviously don't want to have to wip the old win also.

Under troubleshoot I have Startup repair, UEFI, Command Prompt, Sys Restore, Unistall updates and system image recovery

I attempted startup repair but it failed.

You need to state your scenario much more clearly.

    Is your 'other disk'
    - part of a dual boot configuration?
    - a spare clone?
    - something else?

Was 'the other disk' in your PC when this problem started?

I've got the data off the disk using CMD.
'the disk' - presumably you mean your existing system disk.

No specs on your PC. Please complete these. Click 'My computers' below my post for example. Tutorial available.
Include details of your system disk.

Start by ensuring the only disk in your PC is the system disk you're working on.

When could you last boot from 'the other disk' ?

Do you have a second PC available?

You need to start by checking your disk.
Do that by either connecting the disk to a working PC (via USB) and using either Crystal Diskinfo or Hard Disk Sentinel, or by booting your existing PC using a live boot disk (Google if unfamiliar) created on another PC.

Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of ALL your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.
