    A new W10 install

    I have W10 22H2 on my PC

    I have been asked to install another incidence of W10 for testing
    Can I install it on my PC with no impact to the existing install.

    It will not require any additional programs just the W10 standard OS

    If so are there any guides or steps on how to do this ?

    It won't be kept its for testing only.

    @sargan
    1. You need a new ISO
    2. A screenshot of Diskmanagement
    3. Check if you can boot into your Recovery (Command Prompt)

    The tutorial below shows a very easy way to dual boot and extremely easy to cleanup when done.

    EDIT: Note, the article deals a lot with upgrading a copy of Windows installed in this manner. You will want to focus on the video in the first post.

    Skip entering a key, if asked. As long as you install the same edition (Home or Pro) as you already have on this PC, then it will activate from the PC's existing digital licence. That applies whether it's Windows 10 or 11 that you install, the digital licence is valid for both.

    I agree, vhdx native boot is by far the easiest way to dual boot, and the easiest to clean up without trace when finished with. I use it a lot.

    Some would say too easy - not that I'm one to get carried away, or anything....

    Wow, Bree, that's quite the configuration! But I guess that it illustrates well how versatile this is.
