I guess you want to install Win 10 on drive 2 on the 466 GB unalloacated space.

Boot from the Win 10 USB installation drive as UEFI, and select the unallocated space to install on.

As you have a UEFI BIOS, you should install as UEFI-GPT
Detach any other drives (SATA or Power cable) from the MB.

During POST, press F12(?) to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name) to install as UEFI-GPT.
Go to install and and select the unallocated space and then proceed.
If you don't want to use MS account, don't enable updates or connect to the internet during installation.

    Hi Megahertz,

Yes, I want to install Win10 in the (466GB) unallocated space. I have tried your instructions, but I get a message stating something to the effect that I don't have enough space on that partition (unallocated space of 466GB).

All the rest I can handle as long as the installation goes as expected (with no problems).

    Kind regards,

    tecknot

    Megahertz,

I just converted my USB flash drive to a GPT drive. However, I do not know how to check and change it to an UEFI. Can you help me out with that part?

    Kind regards,

This just in... It turns out that Windows Media Creation Tool converted my GPT USB flash drive back to an MBR drive (non-GPT). Diskpart will not let me convert it back to GPT.

    Kind regards,

The USB disk is not the problem
    usually
    bcdboot C:\Windows
    clears/cleans the corrupted BCD

    Hi Pentagon,
Would this apply to the installed Windows 10 boot/partition?

I copied the ISO to a GPT USB drive and now I get a different error message: 1) after clicking on "I don't have a product key" during the installation process 2) I pick Windows 10 Pro (which I have a product key for) from the selection, 3) I get the following message, "Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software Lincense Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation."

I don't understand the discussion here.
    - The drive is UEFI-GPT and it boots Win 11 so nothing wrong with the boot manager in the EFI partition.
    - Win 10 isn't installed. Once you install on same drive an option to boot Win 10 will be also installed.
    @tecknot
You can initialize a drive as MBR or GPT.
Boot able drives can be UEFI - GPT or Legacy - MBR depending how did you initialize the drive.
If the drive is GPT, you have to boot it as UEFI as GPT has no MBR to boot as Legacy.
Your drive 2 is GPT and Win 11 is booting as UEFI so you MUST install Win 10 as UEFI. To do so, you must boot the Win 10 USB installation drive as UEFI. Use the one time boot menu (F12?) during POST to choose USB UEFI (Name).

If you're getting the message that you cant install on drive 2 on the unallocated partition is because you booted the Win 10 USB installation drive as Legacy and not UEFI.

If you're getting the message that you cant install because you don't have enough space is because you didn't select the unallocated space and it is probably referring to the EFI partition.

    Hi Megahertz,

Gosh, you are leaving me with nothing since I did boot my USB drive as a GPT (hence a UEFI, I'm guessing). Further, I did select the 466GB of unallocated space on drive 1 (same drive that Windows 11 is installed). I tried it formatted and unformatted/unallocated partition/space. Seems I have been making progress with the installation, but now that I am getting the message about License Terms, I am stuck again.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Megahertz,

Here is a screen shot of Diskpart showing that my USB drive (disk 3) is in GPT:

You don't need to enter a Win 10 key as you already has a Win 10 and Win 11 digital license.

Just skip on entering a license.

    Megahertz,

Here is a pic of the Windows (10) installation when it tells me, "...the system volume does not contain the required free space."

P.S. This photo sucks. I will try to upload a better rendition, but for now I have to leave to take care of some errands. I'll be back.
