Remove Windows 10 incomplete Windows Setup boot entry

I have an old machine where I run Windows 7. At one point in time, I tried an upgrade install to Windows 10 which was unsuccessful.

There are still two entries at startup -

    1. Windows Setup
    2. Windows 7

Is the best way to eliminate this via msconfig? Looking at msconfig > boot, there are two options listed:

    1. (\windows)
    2. Windows 7 (C:\Windows) : Current OS; Default OS

I am assuming the first entry is for the incomplete Windows 10 installation? Do I simply delete that entry?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the super-fast response.

Are there any files to cleanup? I see a few that look like temps, but not sure what they were associated with ...

    $WINDOWS.~BT
    $WINDOWS.~BT.bak
    $Windows.~WS
ESD (looks like the installation media contents)
