Do you have a separate license key for the Home version?

Why do you want to downgrade (just out of curiosity)?

try entering the generic key for Home

    YTMG3-N6DKC-DKB77-7M9GH-8HVX7

if that doesn't work then you can either buy a pro key for a few bucks or you can make a simple registry change and perform a repair install.

The latter is the way we have always changed the edition down on win7.

I would recommend you follow our tutorial:

The way I do it is disconnect from the internet (online key checking sometimes makes changing the product key fail), then use any valid Windows 7/8/10 Home key or the generic Home key mentioned above. Go in Settings -> Windows Update and Security-> Activation and click on Change key. Type the new key. If that doesn't work you can also change the key from command prompt, but I don't remember the command right now. Windows will make the changes and downgrade to Home. You can then connect to the internet to activate.

I'm afraid that is incorrect. A simple product key change will not downgrade Pro to Home. The registry changes given in the tutorial must be made.
