How to create system reserved partition manually?
I recently installed windows (10 Pro) on a new ssd.
The boot manger etc were left on another ssd, but buy copying the boot and efi folders form the installation media usb drive I was able to make the new installation bootable. (GPT not MBR so couldn't use the other commands while in the RE of the installation media drive)
The only problem is it on has the 16 MB partition as well as the main one taking up the rest of the drive.
So I cannot run windows update since there is no 500 MB system reserved partition.
Using minitool partition wizrd, I took off 10 GB, floated it to the left, and made 3 new partitions.
It has an option to change the partition type ID, but the only one I recognize there is the one on that 16 MB partition, and I dont see any for system reserved.
It has the option to manually enter one in however.
In theory if I change that to be the correct one, windows should see it as the system reserved partition and use it properly.
