I still suggest one of these. Reuse vid card, drives and power supply.

Part List - Intel Core i5-13400 - PCPartPicker

    Part List - Intel Core i7-13700 - PCPartPicker <--- DDR5 RAM

Both CPUs have a graphics part inside.

    1. It has a huge upgrade path.
    2. It's up to date.
    3. And even for office stuff, it will go really fast.
    4. It's NOT a gaming build.
    5. Right now, it's an incredible buy. Soon people will wise up and charge more. A lot more.

There is one more identical mobo for sale, the description is All boards are removed from working PCs. All boards are tested to ensure they are in full working condition. The board will come with a free heatsink, x2 SATA cables and I/O shield”Attachment 393274

The mobo is being tested at my PC repair shop, so I’ll soon know, if it’s faulty I will return it.

Then I need to look for an 8 port Sata 6GB or possibly a 6 port and get a 2 port adapter, a budget CPU, with img graphics if suitable for basic Photoshop work, and music editing, no gaming, 16GB ran I assume plus a graphic card if an int gout is not suitable, not being a tight wad, but pc not used for much or very often, so want something budget, but reasonably capable, suggestions would be good….
    Thanks

Yes this should be a good listing going by that description.

Not everyone needs bleeding edge either all though this sounds counter intuitive.
These earlier generation computers are still fine and can do most of the workloads you are talking about being that you mentioned "Office PC"

For now legacy systems are going forward into the future but that could change down the line to where these older systems become to far removed, and support is dying in some cases.

FM2 is still viable it just looks slow on paper but it can still compute and do most workloads with no issue, the spectrum here is if it had the right GPU in it then you would be able to play most games and that sets the tone here. I guess you may want to save for a more modern platform in the future but this is not overly crucial imo.
