The issue is that if I start the Windows Camera app I get a Permissions message (see attached)
So do what it told you to do.

A screenshot of the page the Privacy Settings link goes to for Camera is what I attached (it actually goes to the Mic page first instead). That was the first thing I did when this problem started. But everything is ON. I have turned the settings off & on, updated the driver and uninstalled the camera, rebooted and let P&P reinstall it, all multiple times.
And I actually compared the Settings and list of Runnings services on my wife's laptop to mine and they are the same. If it would start the Camera and I didn't work I would understand, but it keeps telling me there is a setting someplace that is wrong. ???

I figured out what was wrong, totally by accident. Turns out the Permissions Setting page that the link took me to was the WRONG one. There is a page accessed by typing "camera" in the Search bar, and when it shows the Camera app you select "App Settings". On that page the "Location" setting was Off and when I turned it on the Camera started working ???? What does the camera care where I am ? Don't know, Don't care, It IS working.
    Thanks For Your Help,
    Jack
