    Question: Does Reset require


    Giving PC away (purchased new one)... Reset my files only leaving Windows 10 OS. Do I need to log into MS account if I am logged in locally?

    Hi if it was me and giving computer away i would just wipe the drive and the next owner can install windows.

    or you can do the reset and choose remove everything. don't need to be on microsoft account.

    No way, I am giving it to family and unfortunately no one there is even remotely a techie in any way. I'd end up setting it all up for them anyway.

    Reset only removes programs and any users that were added to the OS, leaving the latest version of Windows installed.

    Consider performing a reset remove files.

    It requires the reinstallation of drivers and applications.

So I upgraded and want to reset it now, after I pick remove everything it gives the option to remove my files or remove files and clean the drive. What does it mean by cleaning the drive and will it **** with my windows being registered at all?
