UEFI BIOS settings to prepare for Windows 10 Installation

Is it advisable to set the UEFI BIOS (Asus ROG Hero Maximus VI motherboard) to a factory default settings before installing Windows 10? Or should I at least set the memory "XMP" profile?

    Thanks!

    Hello Greg, :)

The only UEFI firmware settings that I would recommend to temporarily change until Windows 10 installation is complete is:

Disable Fast Boot to make it easier to be able to boot from a USB. When Fast Boot is enabled, you don't have time to be able to press the Boot Menu key to select to boot from a USB.

Disable Secure Boot. Some motherboards do not support booting from a USB while secure boot is enabled.
