Still trying to find a way to run Win 10 install from a single dvd?

    This is a legitimate site:

Windows 10 1511 Home and Pro (x86 and x64) multi language download : Microsoft : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

The download time is a little slow but not unbearable. Kaspersky and Norton finds it virus free. If you don't mind updating your Win 10 to current and you can't boot from USB for installation this could be your answer. These are alleged to be untampered copies of Win 10 downloaded directly from Microsoft's site. I scanned and tested the X64 version and it seems to work well. As these are legitimate downloads from Microsoft, you will need to provide your own activation key.

I haven't had any issue using a single DVD but due to size I use only DVD+R/DL [Dual-Layer] which have a capacity of about 8GB. The discs are a bit hard to find in local stores but I get the 'cakebox' of 50 discs. And I use the MCT to get both the .iso file and create the bootable USB thumb drive [8GB].

Windows 1511 was released on Nov. 2015, and updates ended in 2018. While it still works, it's a bad candidate for installation because your (newer than 2015?) PC might require drivers that aren't included.

Why not just download the newest Windows 10 directly from Microsoft? It does require a Dual Layer DVD.

And why bother with a DVD instead of using a [readily re-writeable] USB?
