Why am I beginning to like Windows 11 more than 10?

    Hi all -

I have been using W11 for some time now and it feels more refined than W10?
Additionally, everything appears to be more fluid in-terms of the GUI and speed.

I cannot create a center lower toolbar (with shortcuts), which is a pity but will see if there is a workaround.

    Is W11 ready for prime-time?

I've always liked Windows 11 more than 10. But before page 1 is filled up, the Windows 11 haters will post everything that is "wrong" with 11. Heck there are still a few Windows 10 haters holding out that Windows 7 is the best Windows that will ever exist!

I've installed W11 a few times on my system and it runs well, but after a few days I just find myself going back to W10.

Guess I'm too comfortable with 10 and it's looks/features. Trying to find the same settings in W11 it feels to me that I'm fighting the UI - not good for a daily driver.

    I don't hate 11, just more comfortable with 10.

Windows 10 and 11 are both improvments from what we use to have. I remember the days of Vista and Windows 7 when I was afraid to reboot the computer after installing somethig new because I would get an error code that made no sense why it would not boot. I would have to reinstall the system 3 or 4 times a year. When i would ask for updates most of the time I would get a message could not connect to update server and if it did the update would break the system. I use Windows 11 on a new laptop and have had no problems. It is the same or better than 10. Microsoft is not perfect but we should appreciate what they give us. These days too many want something for nothing.

I use both on different machines (and I still use Win7 on another).

I've had a W11 machine since the initial release (and tried the Insider preview before that). On the whole I prefer 11 to 10.

With the good comes the not so good.

Some simple things in the GUI and context menus are not completely logical.
I will get used to it but that where W10 shines.

Here is a prime example of a latent BUG that has not been addressed...

I posted it on W11 Forums. It's a known issue.

Actually, I should be seeing *drives* and not volumes, etc. Advanced view is even worse. Plus the Select All option does not function properly, lol.

Q: Why am I beginning to like Windows 11 more than 10?

A: Because you've gone over to the dark side.
