There are many Hp envy x360. Some of them has Intel some of them has MD
All them has a PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. That is why you don't find any SATA drives. There are none.
Have seen some PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD on HP computers that need a specific driver. As your computer is a Intel i7 you probably need the IRST driver.
IRST f6flpy-x64.zip
Extract the files to a folder on the USB drive.
Boot ftom the Win 10 installation drive and when asked browse to the folder with the drive
HP Envy x360 no drives found during Win10 installation
@
bartjunited, please give us the complete model of your Hp envy x360. Look under the case.
thanks
i downloaded the driver you suggested.
browsed to it during install and it doesnt have a compatible driver in there.
I even deselected the option of "hide drivers that are not compatible" and tried a couple of the drivers and whilst they did "load" i still dont see the drive so they didnt work.
thanks again

When I go to the hp site with the reference of your laptop, I don't have the drivers page.
When you are on your laptop drivers page, copy the page address and paste it here.

Thanks ntn I had seen this reference bd0000, searching with this reference 54C82EA leads me to the same page HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13-bd0000 (172M8AV), so it's good.
@bartjunited try with this extract the folders with 7-zip and copy the folders to the usb.
I put all the windows 10 drivers of all the windows 10 builds on your hp page in the same folder, and the same for windows 11.
The names of the files are identical, therefore duplicated (1)(2) but the versions are different, you must try all the duplicate files.
Extract the windows 10 vmd and windows 11 vmd folders and copy them to the usb.

Or these fixes: 5 Ways to No Signed Device Drivers Were Found Windows 10/8/7
Also try to put the drivers folders on another usb flash drive and when it asks you for the drivers and also before trying, insert the drivers usb into one of the laptop ports.
You deselected the option of "hide drivers that are not compatible" with my 2 folders?

Thanks again
Still no joy
Extracted the file
Laptop then says no signed drivers when I browse to it during set up.
I then unstick option to show me all drivers
Browsed to folder called f6
2 files in here
Tried to install these
1st one, 5 mins later still trying to load
So hard booted and started again
2nd one was doing the same thing so I just left it as I had to leave the house
Surely a driver does not take that long

i am currently trying to install the driver you mentioned and once again its taking forever to try to install the driver/
I've not had a chance to see whether it will do the same with the 2nd driver
