I ran the program and Bitdefender doesn't like it. Bitdefender says there is a threat called, Atc4.Detection

    Any ideas?

Btw, I've been using Hard Disk Sentinel Pro v6.01 for several years.

Is there anything on it you want to know?

    ATC or ATC.sys is Bitdefender.
The Ten Forums log collectors are protected scripts.
Bitdefender, Avast, and other third party software are known to interfere with the V2 log collector.

Please run the Bitdefender uninstall tool and make sure that Microsoft defender is on.

    Uninstall Bitdefender

Remove Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools using the uninstall tool

HD Sentinel is an extremely quick method to view the status of disk drives as results are instantaneous.
It may display false negatives (miss drive failure) especially after power outages.

Thanks for your good advice, Zbook. I will ditch Bitdefender and just run MS Defender.

I had the life frightened out of me yesterday. Using AOMEI, I did an OS transfer/Install on to the WD 2tb drive from the Sentinel drive. Rebooting got me error message and I had to reboot to get out of the mess. I tried from uefi to boot from into the WD drive, but never got there. On occasion, I was able to boot into the Sentinel drive to my desktop, but usually within a minute I it went into the blue screen indicating an error. The fix was to remove the WD drive from the motherboard. It it now removed.

I don't know what I can do to erase the OS from the WD drive, as it would necessitate reinstalling it into the motherboard.

Please run HD Tune (free or trial version on all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images or share links for the full error scan.

For the Samsung drives please run Samsung Magician
Samsung Magician Software Download | Samsung Semiconductor Global
Post images for diagnostic scan > full scan

After completing the error scans for each drive open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    chkdsk /b /v

    Use the syntax: chkdsk /b /v C: or chkdsk /b /v D: or chkdsk /b /v E: etc.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /b /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y

    Reboot as needed.

These chkdsk switches may take significant time.

Plan to run the Windows drive overnight while sleeping.

    Nice progress.

After completing chkdsk /b /v on all drives please run:

Post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

Running checkdisk got me into a mess. Got partway through Stage 4 and it stopped.
    Stage 4 24%
    208576 of 867 824
    Total 12%

Rebooted and ran it again. It stopped at:
    Stage 4 23%
    208 267 of 867 824

Rebooted and got into a bunch of blue screens. Nothing I did helped.

As a last resort I pulled the Sabrent drive and replaced it with the WD Black 2 Tb drive.
I was amazed when it booted into Window and is running ok., Only lost a couple of days of data on the Sabrent drive.

Macrium Reflect updated to the Toshiba drive as normal.

I have an external USB M.2 NVMe Enclosure coming Saturday so I can plug the Sabrent drive into it and see what I can do.

All my backups using Reflect are on a Toshiba HDD on this computer. I should have a backup/image off this computer and offsite.

    Any suggestions?

When all drives were connected had you saved any HD Sentenial images?

All disk drives can be used until the terminal event as long as:
    a) files or images are backed up to another disk drive or the cloud
    b) computer performance and / or stability /instability problems are tolerated

If Sea Tools for windows long generic test displays fail then replace.
If SMART has significant warnings then replace.
If bad blocks are increasing then replace.

For any disk drive that had a recent complex chkdsk fix plan to run a repeat chkdsk in a month to check for recurrent problems.

When available post images or share links of HD Sentinel Overview /Temperature /SMART results for the disk drives.
