Can I Go Back to Ten from Eleven?

On a new laptop, I accidentally "upgraded" to Windows 11 from the original WinX OS. Since all my other gear is still WinX, I'd rather stick with one operating system. Is there an easy way to roll back the "upgrade"?

I appreciate the link! Unfortunately, it may have been more than 10 days since the blunder. I sure can't find any windows.old folder on that machine: "a copy of the previous installation is saved to the Windows.old folder in the root directory of the Windows 11 drive as a backup. This backup will allow you to be able to go back to the previous Windows for up to a 10 days"

What is the brand name and model name and model number and serial number of your new laptop?
Having that information should allow its support site to be located.

After 10 days, and without a full backup, probably the easiest thing to do would be to export all your drivers and then do a clean install.

For future reference, the roll-back period can be extended (tutorial available).

And, as ever- the inevitable plug for disk imaging.. had you been using that and updated your disk image set before you upgraded to '11, you could have restored Win 10 as was from your last disk image of it.

The routine and regular use of disk imaging is endlessly recommended here- e.g. Macrium Reflect (free/paid) to large enough external storage.
