What @jimbo45 was referring to was getting a cheap Windows 7 and upgrading it to Windows 10 to get the Windows 10 digital license. But it sounds like you have zero interest in less expensive methods that would get you the exact same results as the method you are determined to use.
I am going to get the USB Retail Box and thats that

Yep, we know! Overpaying for an outdated version of Windows 10. Anyway, good luck in finding one that isn't ridiculously expensive.

This thread reminds me of a situation I have encountered many times:

Someone asks me for advice as to what kind of a computer they should get. I ask questions and based upon their responses make some suggestions. Then I tell them that whatever they do, avoid these mistakes and I list off a few things that they should definitely not do.

What do they do? They get exactly what I told them to avoid.

A month later they come crying about the problems they are having as if it's my fault. Notably, the problems are directly related to things I told them to avoid.

If they are going to ignore my suggestions anyway, why even ask???

    Love it!

    @hsehestedt,

At least there won't be any major problems associated with the full retail boxed product. It will just be out of date, but Windows Update should take care of that. It's just a waste of someone else's money - but it isn't mine so.....

    stubbornness has its price.

The online installations arent fixing the software corruptions on my laptop. I suspect its filling in the blanks rather than completely removing and reinstalling the OS. Therefore I need to wipe my drive completely and reinstall Windows 10 from a pre-OS state in order to stop this unsolvable system corruption. Since my laptops dont have disc drives the only option for physical preOS installation is USB. If I wipe my drive 100% then of course I could not install through the online option. I would be able to upgrade to the newest version once the corruption is resolved.

And hundreds of thousands of users have done that for the cost of a $5 flash drive, but you won't listen to us.

#1 - your laptop already has a digital license for Windows 10 stored on Microsoft Activation Servers so there is no need to purchase a product key.

#2 - you can create an up-to-date USB installation flash drive directly from Microsoft:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

But go ahead. Spend however much you want to in order to get your retail box. And the other hundreds of thousands of users will do the exact same thing with an up-to-date flash drive that costs them only the price of the flash drive itself.

Hundreds of thousands of other users create the flash drive from the Microsoft website (Media Creation Tool). Boot the computer from the USB flash drive. Wipe their existing HDDs or SSDs clean, and reinstall Windows. Cost = $5 for a flash drive.

As NavyLCDR pointed out, everything you want to do can be done by making the flash drive yourself. As pointed out to you MULTIPLE TIMES, a flash drive made by you can do EVERYTHING that a purchased drive can do.

You are free to do as you wish, of course, but we are simply trying to save you aggravation and money.

Why bother posting if you are determined to ignore all the advice how to save tidy sum? At least my Microsoft shares have been boosted by your purchase

Oh dear. I missed the post where it was said he already had a digital licence. All he needed was a £5 flash drive and a free download from MS! It's a great example of parting fools from their money.

This here is getting ridiculous. I already tried reinstalling from Media Creation Tool five times and system corruptions remain. A private chat with a specialist informed me that the only solution was the one Im pursuing and yet I am faced with more resistance than I ever saw in regards to fiixig my problem offline.
