The fact that it is impossible to create a bootable ISO of a Windows installation are bonded to:
Windows needs a writable media... ISO or CD / DVD are not... Writable media is required.
The BCD configuration is absolutely / completely... Not the same.
Write filters can be used. But all changes are lost on reboot.
Bootable iso of an installation can't be done... With any burning software.
But you can use iso as a container for other uses. And create boot files... To boot from anywhere.
But You cannot and will not, boot a flat installation of Windows from any read only media.
