    Installation of W8.1 over W10

    Hi guys.
I wanted to install W8.1 over W10 so when booting of the USB I have these partitions (picture).
Can I delete system partition (100MB size) and this MSR (Reserved)?
I just want clean install of only Windows 8.1

So what do I choose to do?

    Hello frozensun,

Delete all the partitions on drive 0 and install to the resulting free drive 0 space assuming you've backed up all your important files.

As steve108 mentioned, just delete all partitions on the drive till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.

It will delete everything on the drive so make sure you have backed up all your data.

I've done the same on a completely clean drive, no partitions and let Windows create as needed.

I'm mystified why you want Windows 8.1.
