built new system - ran and it quit - any system builders?

I built a MSI X79-GD45-Plus MB System - 32 Gig DDR3 Ram, new I7 CPU, 2011 socket, ATI RX-570, Samsung 2 TB 870 SSD. Darn fast. Then all of a sudden, it would not load windows 10. Then, a new 2nd system. I bought another MSI Z-390 Gaming MB, 64 Gig DDR4 Ram, I7 CPU with a new Cooling fan for it and used the Samsung SSD. And the same exact thing after running great for a week. Loaded al the software and made several restore point, JIC. The Z-390 after 3 minutes will display the MSI logo with the message to hit delete to enter the BIOS except it is locked up at this point. If you hit delete almost immediately after powering it up, it will go into the BIOS - all looks fine. But a reboot ends up in the same place. I changed out the SSD in case it was that and the same result. Windows 10 Pro.

    Any thoughts please. Stu

    Finally figured it out.

After trying a different SSD and watching the lights, I have decided that the CPU died. When powered on, the red light by the CPU power lights up for 30 seconds and then it displays the splash panel for the BIOS and nothing. So it's not the SSD, but the red light indicates that the CPU is not responding. Kindest thoughts. Its a Corsair 750 BTW.

Don't rule out thermal shutdown. Try cleaning off the old cooling paste and reset the fan with new paste.
