    Downsides to Secure Boot?

I am on W10 and not planning on moving to W11 anytime soon. Should I activate secure boot in my BIOS anyway?

What are the downsides of activating Secure Boot? Does it send any additional data to Microsoft? Any reasons to not do it? Linux?

    Thank you.

When enabled and fully configured, Secure Boot helps a computer resist attacks and infection from malware. Secure Boot detects tampering with boot loaders, key operating system files, and unauthorized option ROMs by validating their digital signatures. It does not send any information to microsoft.
