I want to upgrade to Win 11... gotta keep current with the new stuff.
    1) Why do Disks 1 and 2 have a Page File on them ?

Disk 2 is D drive, Disk 1 is E Drive
    2) Why is Disk 3 marked Active ?
Disk 3 is my old E drive 1Tb before I updated to 4Tb E drive

don't know... is there something I'm missing? D drive has all of my docs, music etc and I may have put a page file on it years ago

Is that the external drive ?
Disk 4 is the external... 5Tb WD Backup

My question has nothing to do with drive letters, why do Disk 1 and Disk 2 have a Page File on them ?
Only Disk 0, C: should have a Page File, unless you intentionally put your Page File on another drive to save space on C:
If this is not the case, there is no reason to have Page Files on Disk 1 and Disk 2
If Disk 3 is not a Operating System drive, it should not be marked Active.

so i pulled the trigger and converted successfully, but I was surprised that on reboot, the UEFI drive option didn't show like in videos but had something like Windows Boot Samsung... ???
Reboot went OK and showed UEFI mode in msinfo32.
Looked in Disk Mgmt and it name the first boot drive partition H: drive

and the page file issue brought up earlier... I prob added a page file on my drives, maybe as far back as XP, to help with memory issues running adobe and other stuff. I've been computing and building machines since the i386 and have seen all versions of Windows. Upgrading keeps me up to date and imo each upgrade is an improvement for the most part. I just don't have time to be the systems expert like many on this forum. thanks

Glad to hear the conversion went well! What I suggest is delete the old System Reserved partition at the beginning of the disk and create a new EFI System Partition there. Then delete the second EFI System Partition to get back to a somewhat normal UEFI partition layout.

With 32G of memory I don't think you will ever make use of virtual memory so I don't think is necessary to have 3 drives with page files.

You should set drive 3 to inactive so it won't be on the list of boot able drives.

This is my WIn10 on an ASUS desktop from about 5 years ago, factory setup by ASUS for the only internal drive 0 which has C: as Boot/System and D: set up as GPT with the EFI system, other drives are USB:

So far the only reason given for not upgrading is it doesn't meet the TPM requirement for Win11. There's no socket/port for a TPM module on the motherboard.

I have a Custom machine with Gigabyte motherboard and Intel Core i7 CPU given me for parts that is still quite good and has the socket but haven't found the module for it yet.
