Will this update lead to Winddows 11

Hi friends!

My laptop has Windows 10 Home Single Language 64 bit OS. For the last few days, I have been receiving a notification of sort in the Settings > Update & Security area, which reads as below.

The next version of Windows is available with new features and security improvements. When you're ready for the update, select download and install.

Normally I allow and install all the updates without any hesitation whatsoever. I am worried that if I go ahead and install this particular update, my Windows 10 will be upgraded to Windows 11. Is it the what going to happen? Please guide me. Thanks a lot.

Your PC appears to be a supported model for Windows 11, but 11 will never be forced on you. It will only ever be offered as an optional upgrade. When it is offered to you this will appear in Windows Update. If you click on 'Stay on Windows 10 for now' the offer will go away.

I went ahead with that update and it only updated my OS to build 19044.1348 from the previous build 19043.1348, just like you had mentioned. Thanks a lot again.
