downgrading to windows 8.1

Is this a new computer that came with Windows 10 or did you upgrade from 7 or 8.1? If you upgraded from 8.1 and want to go back, you will not need a key, you just need to downgrade. If you upgraded from 7 or if this is a new computer that came with 10, you will need to buy a new key for 8.1.

When you get a copy of WIn8.1 you'll get a key with it.

You'll need to buy a copy of Windows 8.1 from a reputable dealer, such as Tiger Direct, Newegg, or Microsoft store themselves, and then you'll have a key.
