[SOLVED] Update to build 21370 with local acocunt

Is possible to update from build 19044 to build 21370 with any iso or update file? I have local account only and don't want to log in to cloud account or enroll in Insider accounts.

Since you're asking about upgrading to a Windows 11 build, you probably should ask on the Windows 11 forum, which is at Windows 11 Forum

I want to be on Windows 10 but have AAC support for bluetooth earbuds, which the new build 21370 has.

Sorry: I was under the mistaken impression that builds greater than 20000 were Win11.

I wish you the best of luck in finding the version you're looking for. As best I can tell, it's not publicly available. Just like support for WiFi version 6e, getting support for the upgraded Bluetooth features you want currently requires upgrading to Win11.

Was able to update from 19044 downloading the ISO from UUP dump, then mount the iso as virtual drive and start the upgrade to to to 21370.1 W10. Afterwards, Windows Update automatically downloaded and installed 22000.160 W11, and after booting to it and installing further updates now I'm on 22000.348.

    Great so far.

In general I'm very happy with Windows 11, except the taskbar is not configurable.

The 3rd party tool StartIsBack can be used to replace the Win11 Taskbar and Start Menu software with the Win10 versions.

However, it might (or might not) cause problems when applying Win11 updates. I have no experience with it.

No, all Windows 11 builds are 22000 or higher. The Insider build 21370 was one step in a series of what Microsoft now call 'Pre-Windows 11 Active Development Builds', meaning that it was still officially Windows 10, but contained new code that would eventually become part of Windows 11.

I ended up installing StartAllBack and works perfect to bring back Windows 10 taskbar to W11.
