Can not boot to any windows product but boots to linux with no issue

have posted these questions before. But I'm having such a difficult time. About a month ago my computer restarted itself after trying to install Call of Duty, when ti restarted it would not come back to windows. I tried windows recovery right away and to no aVAIL, it would not post to windows recovery, whether by boot disk, USB, CD, nothing will make it boot back to windows. Since then I have installed LINUX to try to see if maybe it was a hardware issue, but linux works and operates perfectly.

    So far I have,

RMA'ed my motherboard, they swapped it and it came back and the problem has persisted, I have changed RAM, still no boot, I have tried installing windows on another computer and then putting that hard drive on my computer and doesn't boot from it. I have tried legacy, UEFI, enabling and disabling SECURE boot, I have tried EVERYTHING. I reformatted my drives, had my drives out.. I have used HIRENS boot cd, to try to load into Windows PE, it says its loading files, and when its done it just sits on the windows 4 squares splash screen. I am at my wits end.

these are some of the hardware things i have done.
    Checking ram sticks

    Flashing bios

    Upgrading bios

Taking all drives out and just booting windows from USB

    Legacy and non-legacy boots

Iso of win 10 from RUFUS

BOOTING UEFI from usb drive and installing windows that way

I also checked my video card by installing it in another computer and putting a known working one in it and still didn't boot.

I have seen this question asked a few times in other forums, but there is never an answer or a solve to this issue. Can someone please help!

    1. Welcome to the site
    2. What you do not tell us is - what occurs when you try to install Windows 10 from an installation usb - by that I mean what are the error messages
does the install procedure see the drives
How many actual drives are in the computer -

    3. Do not try and make the usb using Rufus - good as it is, it requires a certain degree of knowledge to make the usb bootable and correct setup for your computer

    4. Use the microsoft procedure which will automatically create the correect usb - bootable on your computer

    5. You need on the one time boot menu to select the USB pen entry that is prefixed with EFI or similar = IF on the one time boot menu there are two usb pen entries - one will have the UEFI (EFI) prefix and one will not

    6. Go here
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/soft...load/windows10

follow the link create installation media and the outlined procedure
    ============================================================
Before you download the tool make sure you have:

An internet connection (internet service provider fees may apply).
Sufficient data storage available on a computer, USB or external drive for the download.
A blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space or blank DVD (and DVD burner) if you want to create media. We recommend using a blank USB or blank DVD, because any content on it will be deleted.
When burning a DVD from an ISO file, if you are told the disc image file is too large you will need to use Dual Layer (DL) DVD Media.
Check a few things on the PC where you want to install Windows 10:
Post back when you have that USB made
Do NOT make the DVD - make it on a flash pen

Make sure you do not have RAID enabled in BIOS. It should be AHCI. If it is set to RAID, you likely need to install Intel IRST drivers during Windows setup.

Have you tried new SATA cables?
Carefully reseated both ends of the SATA and power cables going to the disk(s)?

Note that MS does not allow Windows itself to boot from USB. There used to be a "Windows-to-Go" option which would, but I don't think that's supported any more. Linux does not have that limitation.

A hack would be to run Windows in a VM under linux. Have you tried that?

I was able to install windows through virtual box without issue in linux.. but it doesn't "install" it.. it doesn't use any of the actual hardware. So, not sure what I need to do or what that woudl do to make a difference

You have so far failed to answer the two questions that have been asked in this thread. You need to help us to help you. The first question asked was:

    1. When is the Windows install failing, and what error message are you getting? Look at the clean install tutorial here:
    Clean Install Windows 10

What step in that tutorial is your install failing at, and what, if any, error message are you getting?

    2. Is RAID disabled in BIOS and is it set to AHCI mode. Did you specifically look for RAID mode settings? There may be two - one for SATA and one for NVME.

Yes, when I installed windows, it doesn't come up with any error.. it sits on the windows splash screen, when I have used WINPE it says "loading files" and when it goes to load into windows..it just sits on the window splash screen (see attached)

and yes RAId is disabled automatically in my bios.. it is AHCI mode.

Do you get to the initial setup screen, or is it on the reboot that it if failing?

Can not boot to any windows product but boots to linux with no issue-capture.jpg

Also, is the USB flash drive plugged into a blue USB port? It's best to try it plugged into a black USB port, preferably one that is directly off the motherboard in the back of the computer. You should only have mouse+keyboad+monitor connected, no other peripherals, and USB flash drive in a black USB port.
