    Ok....

Make disk 2 active shut down, remove disk 1 and boot. You will know right away.

And it will not prevent you to go back instantly.

Boot into Windows on disk 2. Open a command prompt with admin (run as administrator), and run the following commands:

    Code:
    diskpart
    select vol c
    active
    exit
    bcdboot C:\Windows /s C: /f BIOS
    exit
reboot the computer from disk 2. What happens?

If you want to do it with windows bootmgr:

    mark E active

add boot critical files to E:

    bcdboot e:\windows /s e:

Then select disk2 to boot to from the one time boot menu and from there you can mark the c partition on disk1 inactive.

Now you can add your linux to the bcd store on E.
