This is a good to know. Obviously a W7 vintage PC is not W11 compliant, but still - good data point.
No, it certainly isn't. That's why I moved the OS from my elderly System One below to a fully complaint new machine, my System One over on Eleven Forum. Using a Macrium image I moved my W10 OS, installed software and user files to the new machine which was duly offered the W11 upgrade through Windows Update on 20th October.
It's the installed OS that can trace a continuous upgrade path back to Windows 7, having had a complete hardware replacement along the way.

Honestly, I could never tell if he was being serious, or trolling.
I respectfully replied to him twice, on different issues, only to have a somewhat negative response.
I washed my hands after that. I refuse to play that game.
