I didn't liked it as well. I am still using Windows 7 actually and now I plan to upgrade and see how the Windows 10 will perform on my machine. Regarding the 11, that OS is simply not for me.

On what grounds do you say that Windows 11 is not for you. Apart from maybe some superficial customisation options, Windows 11 is far superior to Windows 7 in oh so many ways - better drivers, security, UEFI support etc. etc. etc. Haved you really tried it properly?
I can understand people comparing Windows 10 with Windows 11 but Windows 7?
Anyway, I am guessing your PC is not Windows 11 compatible anyway?
Actually you are right. I have old PC and it is definitely not for any newer version of Windows except the Windows 7. It was lagging a lot with the 11. However, I plan to test the 10 and I think it should work smoothly but will see. I am simply to attached to the Windows 7 since I am using it for years.
you do realize just how unsafe using win7 is yes ?I am simply to attached to the Windows 7
Welcome to Ten Forums.
In my experience across quite a few older machines Windows 10 runs at least as well, if not better, than Windows 7 on the same machine.
You don't give the specs of your W7 PC, but if it has less than 4GB RAM and was running 32-bit windows 7 then 11 will definitely be 'lagging'. W11 is only available as a 64-bit OS. Windows 10 is available as 32-bit though, and that should run as well as 32-bit W7 does on a PC with 2GB of RAM.
Hello @kennif and welcome to TF
I suggested you create a new thread asking for assistance on upgrading from W7 to W10 - if that is your desire, so we may better help you.
If you really want to try W11 again right now, sister site Windows 11 Forum would be the appropriate place to make your request.
If the boot drive is a HDD, you will experience frequent 100% disk usage with Windows 10/11. The solution, in that case is to upgrade to a SSD boot drive.

Because all the OP does is bitch about something that he probably never uses and posts spurious links just to generate clicks and cause an argument. Look at his other threads on the drivers forum and the software and apps forums. Also no different on elevenforum as well, just looks to stir up trouble.
Hello dorcom. I use a toolkit to remove unwanted stuff from Windows, it is removed from the installation image and essentially, never existed the first place. Takes a few YouTube videos to get the hang of, but I think it's great.
Download MSMG ToolKit - MajorGeeks
A low spec machine, particularly if it has little RAM, will always lag when running a 64 bit OS like W11. Mine certainly does....
Let's install Windows 11 on a incompatible hardware | Page 36 | Windows 11 ForumBree said:
However, a 32 bit install of Windows 10 runs quite well on the same hardware.
