It would help with suggesting remedial actions if you explained how you knew you had this "silent program".

    All the best,
    Denis
Thank you first off! I kind of hate to say online. I just know my PC was being able to be gotten into remotely and the files attributes had been changed. I know what file had the program in it and it's been deleted. My cell was done the same way years ago. Long story. Everything will be changed from modem down. All ports closed. No SSID broadcasting. Nothing. Everything changed to new.
Thank you so much again for your help!

I don't want to invade your privacy.

    Are you able to say
    - what symptoms revealed it, or
    - which anti-malware utility detected it and what malware name it called it?

None of it detected it. Kaspersky. Malwarebytes. Nothing. Had to figure out myself what was going on. Had to use other methods, not PC related, to find out what was happening. No programs I've found detect it somehow. I know for fact it was done though. Got the proof saved to a detachable. It's not detected though by anything I've found or know of. Is what it is, but don't want it happening again.
