    Another one may be:
    The file system structure on the disk is corrupt or unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume System OS.

    needs to be taken offline to perform a Full Chkdsk. Please run "CHKDSK /F"
    locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:>" locally or remotely via PowerShell.

    5) sorry, I don't get what you mean by "Post a new V2"

    6) only ever had Windows Defender and it's currently set to low sensitivity

    7) no non-MS firewalls

    8) no drive encryption software that I'm aware of

    9) Have done this multiple times, but I'll give it another shot

    Oh damn people, I stuck 2 USB sticks with startup images on them and it finally loaded them!

    I don't know what made the difference, but I've just wiped the partitions and am reinstalling right now. I'm going to go back and thank all of you who helped in a moment and follow up when it's all done. Thank you VERY much!
