Cannot upgrade Win7 to Win10 Failure at last step

Hello. I'm attempting to upgrade a desktop from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It goes through the install, gets to the very end, and says that the install failed. I've attached the log. It looks like there's a problem with the BCD but from what I can tell after looking at it, everything is fine. The computer starts without a problem.

Hi, please get setupdiag.exe (free from MS) - run that and post the result. It attempts to analyse the log files and match against know cases.

What error message do you see- exactly?

Have you uninstalled any security software in use?

Please post a screenshot of your partitions using a 3rd party partition manager such as Minitool Partition Wizard.

What is the make and model of your PC, and is the BIOS fully up to date?

I have attached the files, snaps of the partition and the output of setupdiag.
I was running AVAST! but had it turned off at the time.

The message gets just says "installation failed"setupdiag.txt

Do you have any type of special boot situation on your system, something like a Linux install or some special boot utility that set up your boot configuration.

Yes, at one point I did, as you can likely tell from the partitioning scheme. Something went south about 6 mos ago and I was unable to fix it, but got the windows loader working with Hiren's Boot PE. That changed the startup animation, thinking back that might be the problem here but I don't know how to remedy it.

Your disk configuration could well be part of the problem. Note:

You have a desktop (of still unknown make and model).
Again: is your BIOS fully up to date?

Try removing/disconnecting what you believe is your non-system disk.
    Does your PC still boot?

Is the 'raid' designation just some naming oddity?

Has your PC been offered Win 10 by Windows update? How did you actually initiate the upgrade?
(i.e. is your PC subject to a compatibility hold by MS)

You should uninstall any old security software.

There seem to be numerous migration issues.
See if you can find a file like
    C\ $WINDOWS~BT\Sources\Panther\CompatData [date-time] .xml
and check if any incompatible program is listed. Example:
Feature update for Windows 10 failed: find blocking components | 4sysops

Sorry, I forgot the make and model.

This is an AMDFX-8320E CPU w/64GB RAM on an ASRock 970 Mobo. I put it together myself. I will try disconnecting the raided drives to see if that helps.

I'm attaching the CompatData files that I found in the folder you suggested.

The RAID drive doesn't house the OS, it stores files, and the USERS directory but the OS itself is on the C: Drive

Upgrade issues with RAID is not something I've dealt with - and that may or may not be one of the factors here.

Note this discussion for example, which may or may not be relevant:

OK, the error from the installer is just "Windows 10 installation has failed"

Here's the install error log from the system without the RAID drive

    setuperr.log

It seems also that your Windows edition cannot be evaluated.

    Start by repairing your BCD.
    Try to eliminate some errors.

    Uninstall 3rd party security.

Run SFC /SCANNOW from an admin command prompt.
