Please explain why asking how to acquire Windows Enterprise is fishy? I simply asked how to acquire Windows Enterprise, and some of you are making such a big deal about it. What's so fishy about it? Explain it please. I already got my answers and know how I will proceed. thank-you.

In this context 'fishy' or 'dodgy' would bring up memories of an old saying of "there's a sucker born every minute" or that if it sounds to good to be true it probably is something to stay away from. Legitimate software sale prices don't mean cheap.

Because you state that your employer wants you to use your own computer and obtain Windows 10 Enterprise yourself for security reasons. Maybe things are different in Argentina than they are in the US, but an employer that is wanting you to personally purchase software that is normally sold to corporations with a volume licensing agreement is fishy, at least in the US. Somebody is scamming someone else, whether it is your employer scamming you or you scamming us.

Now maybe if you are a contractor, and your "employer" is hiring you for contracted services, that might be a different story. But if you aren't a contractor, and the employer is just hiring you on as an employee, it's fishy.

Whenever someone mentions using Windows 10 Enterprise for personal use, most of us on this forum raise one eyebrow.

I run it on my production desktop just because I can, thanks to my VS Subscription from years back.
    Still works fine.

The only way you are supposed to run Enterprise is through an Enterprise License agreement. This agreement typically comes from the employer and would license the software on the machine that they provide to you to work from.

For example, if I had a laptop from 1 employer and took that laptop with me to another employer, the license on the laptop is not transferrable to the new employer. This would be a licensing agreement.

Having an employee running their own licensed software on a machine in use for the company is really a security issue that I'm sure the employer wouldn't want to deal with.

You're making a lot of assumptions here, however to confirm, yes, I am working as a contractor.
