    I can not update the W.10- 21H1 (KB5004337)

    Hi,
Since more than a week i try to update my Windows10, Version 21H1 with KB5004337 but there is always an error. At first i had at MY PC only fewer than 20 GB - but after erasing some more Programms i have over 25 GB space and it is still not possible to update!

Before updated with KB500842 to Version 19041.906 (April 10,2021).
What can i still do to update the current "KB5004337"?
Is it strongly recommendet to update or is it possible just to wait for the Big Update to Window11 in Autumn?
Thank you in advance for all answers

    Hi, do you perhaps mean
    KB5004237 Windows 10 2004 19041.1110, 20H2 19042.1110, 21H1 19043.1110

    - and what is the exact error message?

You can try manually downloading it (link in the above) and then installing it.

    You can also try
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10
and running the Windows Update Troubleshooter

    See solved threads:
    KB5004237 will not install!

    Can't install KB5004237 update

Note: Win 10 support remains to Oct 2025; there's no guarantee Win 11 will be released in October.
Also note the many hardware requirements for Win 11, imposed by the installer rather than Windows.

You say you have Version 21H1, but then mention 1809...?

What does winver report - which the forum prompted you to use...?

Update KB5004237 is not possible to run

    Hi,
I downloaded directly from Microsoft-Catalog the said Update (KB 5004237= 587,6 MBand tried to install/run - but it says: "The update is not applicable to your Computer".

So it seems that I do not need it! (?).
Thank you in advance for any concerned post

And thank you for your reply, which didn't seem to respond to questions.

Did you use the correct link for your PC of those listed in the first tenforums News article I cited?

I can not update KB5004296 (like before KB 5004237) also after downloa

I suggest no more reponses be given here given this.

@ICIT2LOL Hi, that's a quite different issue to this thread which is about a particular update and has been addressed in many such threads where peope are not offered a particular upgrade (feature update).

Hello mate I got it sorted via the tutorial from Brink (6) Update to Latest Version of Windows 10 using Update Assistant | Tutorials (tenforums.com) and I just don't understand why the update was not offered when it came out??
