In my experience, the type of WIN 7 key doesn't matter, OEM or otherwise. My experience is only with WIN 7 Pro keys activating a WIN 10 Pro copy. Win 7 Pro keys are all over the place, they're from a time the keys were stuck to all the machines...
p.s. I have moved a HDD from my main machine to laptop loads of time, when in the laptop, the WIN 10 install says it's not activated, but works just fine. Settings and personalise can't be changed, but you can change keys.
