    KB5003637 Won't install


    I searched the web and found some help. The time settings seem to be OK and I finally was able to delete the SoftwareDistribution directory. None of this helped. It goes through install up to 30%, then reboots and finishes the install up to about 98%. At that point it says it can't complete and uninstalls everything.

    In the interest of full disclosure this laptop is setup to duel boot Win10 with Manjoro Linux.

    Am I looking at a re-install of Windows?

    Need more info? My internet search implies this is a known problem.

    Latest Windows update KB5003637 fails to install
    - resolved after doing an place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs, data and most settings - like any upgrade procedure.
