You lost me - but as I said "At one time" not being sure if it is still the case....
Hi there
The ventoy2Disk works -- :But - No windows ISO later than the one I'm on works -- the iso starts to boot -- shows a Windows Logo and after about 30 Secs the screen goes dark and I'm back to the boot menu.
Other Iso's added to the device work perfectly -- Macrium stand alone recovery, Any Linux distro you care to name, W7, W2K19 server, GPARTED etc.
I've just got to face it that this machine is not capable of running the latest versions of W10 !!! The Ventoy Multi-boot idea though is great as I can have a whole slew of ISO's on a single 64 GB usb stick
No great loss though as I now only will run a Linux OS on this machine with Windows VM's. - Not wasting any more time on this until I get a replacement machine (and never again AMD !!!!)
Cheers

I have had one computer that was not capable of updating to a new Version [v1803, I think] and I followed a thread in which another user had the same problem.
In both our cases, the update failed at one of the re-boots not at the start. Nothing is changing at the start so there is nothing to fail because of compatibility.

In one of my in place upgrade (run setup from Windows), after a restart it failed to boot. I did a boot repair and it booted and continued the upgrade. Strange but easy fix.
Ops, something went wrong
