    Update of a Brick

Old timer here- HELP? The brick is a fanlees ACEPC with limited EMMC (slow) memory -Not enough room to update from Windows Version 1909 . I have an SSD installed .
    1) Can I move ,copy, or install latest home version on the SSD & trigger machine to start from there?
    2) Will this help the speed issue if all programs are on the SSD?
    3)Steps to move forward?

    Added detail

As I said version 1909 installed & MS asking me to update The update request is absorbing a lot of CPU use resulting in slow down I expect I have shut it down & CPU use drops dramatically CPU, memory, drives etc
Does it has UEFI BIOS or only Legacy BIOS?
At the moment what OS is installed?
    How big is the EMMC?

I think you can either clone the old OS partitions from source EMMC onto target SSD -- with a little tweaking here and there. I know you can make full OS and data partition images from source EMMC onto external media, then restore from external media onto target SSD. Many but not all operations will be quite a bit faster on an SSD. At school, I cannot walk you through these steps of cloning or backing up/restoring to process. I can only help in bits and pieces throughout the days.

    Steps to take?

    1) Get latest win 10 version on a usb
    2) Install on the SSD Somehow??
    3) Make sure the SSD drive is a boot option
    4) delete the Old windows form the eMMC
Will this force start up on the new version?

First of all, it would help immensely to see a screenshot of disk management from the computer:
