    If the bcdboot E:\Windows /d /addlast works, do I have to set the bcdboot E:\Windows /d /addlast back to the "C" drive?
    Does this add both drives into the boot menu?

    Something is wrong with your installer, or you may not have the Bios setup properly.

    If you already have W10 installed in UEFI mode then all you should have to do is unplug its power cable, then startup the PC and start hitting F8 to bring up your Boot Menu (not the Bios) and choose to boot from your installer.

    Does your Bios show the new drive hooked up ?

    I tried following your suggestions, but it did not work.
    I count not find the setup.exe file on disk # 1 or on the recovery disk. the disks were set to me from HP.
    (see attached). I did a dir/s on both disks.
    I used these disks before the UEFI was on my other system.

    The disks provided by HP are to be used to recovery the factory OS on specific models of computers. You would have to boot the computer from it.

    I have both drives connected.
    I inserted the CD but there is no SETUP.exe file on the disk.
    I received replacement operating system disks from HP.
    The error message shows Boot device not found (see attached)
    How can I get the system to load if there is no setup.exe file on the disk?

    I have no idea if this is your issue, but on some HP (mine for instance) motherboards there is a dedicated SATA port for the boot drive. There can only be one boot drive attached and the computer will always try to boot from whatever drive is plugged into that port.

    In other words, you can't try to boot from two separate drives as the MB doesn't support that option.

    I did not see the words "Press any key to boot from DVD " when you turn on the PC ?
    I pressed the ESc key, then preesed the F9 key. The DVD drive did not come up.
    The box that came up showed: (unable to upload screen shot)
    Please select boot device
    UEFU Boot Sources
    Legacy Boot Sources.
    I clicked on both but nothing happened.

Missing internal hard drive space
