As I wrote in the PM, run the SetupDiag tool and upload the Logs.zip package it creates.

As Tekkie Boy is offline, here is a start.

    Extract from the SetupDiagResults log.
"Error: SetupDiag reports Optional Component installation failed to open OC Package.
    Last Phase: Safe OS
Last Operation: Gather Optional Component status
    Package Name: Foundation
    Error: 0x8007001F

Refer to "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/947821/fix-windows-update-errors-by-using-the-dism-or-system-update-readiness" for possible remediation information.
Recommend you check the "Windows Modules Installer" service (Trusted Installer) is started on the system and set to automatic start, reboot and try the update again. Optionally, you can check the status of optional components on the system (search for Windows Features), uninstall any unneeded optional components, reboot and try the update again."

    @lucydog

Download SFCFix.exe and save this to your Desktop.
Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop too.
Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
Save any open documents and close all open windows.
On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.

SFCFix will now process the script.
Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
    Then upload the SFCFix.txt here.

Dragged the SFCFixzip into the SFCFix.exe. and it did not create a file only brought up the command prompt saying No new update is available at this time".

The process can take a while because there are a lot of files to copy.

I hope you didn't close the window.

If I use the fix on my the computer, it also takes a long time.
You can see that it is still working in the task manager.
